Two fees on every booking: a 3.3% + 30p platform fee (what keeps BookSesh free for you) and a 2.5% + 20p card fee. Three ways to handle them:

Pass to clients — they cover both, you receive the full listed price.
Split it fairly (recommended) — clients cover the platform fee, you absorb the card fee.

Is it really free?

Yes — for the first 111 practitioners, BookSesh is free forever. Not a free trial. Not a freemium tier. The founding cohort gets full access, permanently, in exchange for helping shape the platform.

Do I need a website to use this?

No. Your BookSesh page acts as your booking site. You get a shareable link with your branding, services, calendar, and payments built in. If you do have a website, you can embed BookSesh into it.

Can my clients pay the fees?

Yes — and most practitioners choose this. There are two fees on every booking: a 3.3% + 30p platform fee (what keeps BookSesh free for you) and a 2.5% + 20p card fee. You pick how they're handled:

Pass on: Client pays both. You receive the full listed price.
Split fairly: Client pays the platform fee. You absorb the card fee.
Absorb everything: Client pays exactly your listed price. You pay a flat 4.99% all-in.

How long does onboarding take?

Most practitioners are taking bookings within 24–48 hours of their onboarding call. The call itself is 30 minutes; setup happens with our support afterwards, at your pace.

How does the Community Partner referral programme actually pay?

For every practitioner who joins BookSesh through you and stays, you earn up to 50% of their subscription revenue for their first three months. Payouts happen six weeks after each qualifying month (giving us a clean refund window), straight to your bank via Stripe Connect. No caps on how many practitioners you can refer. Founding 111 members get the highest tier rate automatically.

What if I'm already using another platform?

We help you migrate. Bring your services, your clients, your historical bookings — we'll import them. Most platforms make leaving hard; we make arriving easy.

What happens after the Founding 111 is full?
